Diana is Bulgarian and professional tennis coach. She is holds a master’s in Tennis coaching, Physical education, Olympism and Olympic movement at Bulgarian National Sport Academy “Vasil Levski” in Sofia, Bulgaria. Furthermore, she possesses coaching licensees from the tennis associations and federations of Bulgaria, Canada and the Netherlands, showcasing her diverse expertise in the field. She was co-owner at a tennis club in Sofia, Bulgaria. Tennis frequently provides a global experience. She held the position of program director and served as the head coach for a project focused on the development of an indoor facility in Vancouver, Canada. Moreover, in 2010, she served as a radio correspondent for the Bulgarian National Radio, providing coverage of the Vancouver Olympic Games.

One notable aspect of her coaching background is her role as the head coach of the junior section at esteemed “Mouratoglou Tennis Academy” in Nice, France for three consecutive summers. During her tenure, she successfully oversaw various programs catering to both high-performance and recreational tennis, including organizing tournaments, conducting private lessons, and implementing ongoing testing. It is worth mentioning that several of her players emerged as junior and adult champions in their respective countries.

Since 2019, Diana has held the position of head coach in Iceland, overseeing the youth team of the largest tennis club in the nation. Her position lies in nurturing aspiring athletes and guiding them towards achieving their dreams of becoming champions. Notably, she has successfully organized prominent tournaments in the country, such as the “Grand Slams Tributes” and “Lindex”. Additionally, Diana serves as the Captain of the Icelandic adult team, representing the country in an exclusive tournament held at the prestigious Monte-Carlo Country Club in Monaco. She also takes on the role of coach for her own daughter, providing guidance and support in her tennis goals.

Among her personal interests, writing books and traveling hold a special place for her. These hobbies allow her to explore her creativity through writing and immerse herself in different cultures and experiences through travel. Diana always harbored a strong desire to intertwine her love for tennis with her passion for travel. She seeks to find a way to combine these two interests, allowing her to indulge in her tennis addiction while exploring new destinations and experiencing diverse cultures.

Prior to her work in Iceland, she had limited knowledge about the wonders of this northern part of the world. It was during their flight to Iceland that her daughter enlightened her about the captivating landscapes, including the enchanting lagoons, majestic mountains, striking black beaches, and breathtaking canyons that awaited them. This sparked a deep desire within her to explore every corner of the country. Eventually, Diana crossed paths with her life partner, Gudsteinn and together they embarked on unforgettable trips across Iceland. These experiences allowed her to attain a sense of inner balance and connection with nature, something she had been yearning for admits to the fiery and tumultuous world of tennis. Diana has always felt a strong affinity for nature. Motivated by a dream, she and Gudsteinn established a travel agency, fueled by their passion for both Iceland’s captivating beauty and their beloved sport.
